It's impossible for me to judge this show on a traditional measure like I would for another band. Just the sheer joy of seeing the Pixies playing live after thinking for years that it would never happen makes any kind of objectivity impossible. I had the biggest grin on my face for the entire show. Although I can't really say I hate any Pixies song there are a few that aren't ones I can listen to over and over. That night it seriously didn't matter though. Every song was my favorite and being able to hear it performed in front of me was bliss. The images were taken by me on a crappy disposable camera and the video files below were taken by and are property of John Estes. They're all about 30 seconds in length and aren't the full songs.. |
